Kerberos Productions is taking a slight step back from the 4X strategy titles and dabble in the Rogue-like RPG genre with Sword of the Stars: The Pit. This fast-paced, light hearted RPG is now available through Valve’s Steam service.
The Pit is an indie title that has launched as a result of the crowd-funding campaign from last October. The reception was overwhelming and the funding was quickly provided... and now there is a full game to speak for the support. Featuring 30 levels, multiple characters and difficulty levels, and a wide variety of weapons and armor, the game is sure to please both fans of the series and old-school dungeon crawlers alike.
You can pick it up now, through Steam, for $9.99. Actually, in honor of the game’s launch, it is currently reduced 10% to $8.99!
