THQ and 4A Games have released a new batch of screenshots for their upcoming first-person shooter, Metro: Last Light. The engine has received a visual upgrade based upon evidence from the latest images. If you happened to miss the news last week, a Metro: Last Light live action short was released that featured scenes of the first missile launches and mass exodus to the metro system.

Metro: Last Light is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.
