Anyone up for a new South Park game?

by: Russell -
More On: South Park: The Stick of Truth
When I hear anything about a South Park video game, I tend to think of the N64 game.  You know, the one where you can throw snowballs and launch cows.  Yeah, I'm dead serious here.  I never played any of the other games, such as Chef's Luv Shack or South Park Rally.  Anyway, what I'm getting at is THQ has announced a partnership with South Park Digital Studios and Obsidian Entertainment to create a new South Park game called...well, South Park: The Game.

Unlike the first game which was an FPS, South Park: The Game will be a role-playing adventure that allows the user to befriend Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny to explore the town itself.  The first details will be coming in the January issue of Game Informer and the game itself is currently scheduled to be released in the first half of 2012 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.  Now I wish I had the original N64 game to play it again.  It's been far too long since I've used a cattle launcher.
