Heads Up: Android owners get Fruit Ninja for free

Following the lead of the folks at Rovip the folks at Halfbrick Studios have released the full version of
Fruit Ninja for free on the
Android Marketplace. I would imagine there are ads sprinkled through out the game but you're still getting a pretty damn good game for gratis. This isn't a slimmed down version but rather the full version with all the modes and unlockables the folks on other platforms are ponying up for.

BRISBANE, Australia - July 21, 2011 - Fruit Ninja, the smash-hit mobile game from Australian game development studio Halfbrick, is now available for free on the Android Market. New and existing fans now have the opportunity to download the full version of the game, share their scores through OpenFeint and chop their way up to the top of the leaderboards without paying a penny.
Fruit Ninja is the highly addictive gaming craze that lets players master their ninja-chopping skills by slashing and splattering fruit. Players slice simply by swiping the touch-screen with one or more fingers, with Classic, Zen and Arcade being the three different game modes to choose from.
Fruit Ninja Free also includes all Dojo content, featuring blades and backgrounds which can be unlocked by completing various objectives within the game. Players who sign up for an OpenFeint account can also access global leaderboards and Facebook/Twitter posting for high scores.
Fruit Ninja was recently nominated for a 2011 Webby Award in the Handheld Games category, and has become an international phenomenon with more than 35 million downloads worldwide. The console version of the title, Fruit Ninja Kinect, is set to release later this summer on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system as part of Microsoft's fan favorite Summer of Arcade promotion, and available via download from Xbox LIVE Arcade.
