It appears that Ubisoft is bringing
Child of Eden to the PlayStation 3 later this year. The title has been announced with a September 20, 2011 release date. The title was released for the Xbox 360 last month and garnered non-stop critical acclaim from the media, however it failed to perform well in terms of sales.
The PlayStation version of the game will include full PlayStation Move support in order to fully immerse players into the engaging world. Child of Eden is the spiritual successor to to Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s Rez, which is a classic in its own right. While unconfirmed at this time, rumor has it that the PS3 version of the game may be launching at a much lower price point than its 360 brethren as Ubisoft’s online shop in Europe has the game earmarked with a price half of the the Xbox 360 version. Perhaps the title will do better at the discounted price...
