According to
eurogamer.net, Disney has begun the process of closing
Black Rock Studios, makers of the recent racer Split/Second. All but 40 people have already been let go, but now those remaining will be out of a job. An anonymous source told eurogamer that Disney mismanaged the studio and didn't properly promote their titles.
It's not all bad news, however,
as two new studios have been started by former
Black Rock employees, ShortRound Games, and Roundcube Entertainment.
