The big release soon and every year around this time is
Madden. With no other competition out there, your only choice for a pro football game is EA's franchise. So when I see
news on 1Up that EA's aware of a few issues with
Maddeon 07 and that one's going to be taken care of in a patch later is pretty disturbing. EA's well known for releasing buggy products and updating it later. Whether it's the business side of things telling their producers to release at an 80% state so they can cash in or whether they have horrible Q/A, EA has caused a lot of PC gamers to be angry and upset at their patch practices. Now it seems it's heading to the console area as the bug where the fatigue doesn't register on the UI side is known but will be fixed in a patch later on. OK, this is a small issue now but you know we're going to start seeing bigger bugs crop up that will be fixed in an upcoming patch in future games. What about the gamers that don't have the system on the Internet. They won't get the fix and will be left out in the cold. I hope I'm wrong on this one but I don't want to pay $59.99 to be a beta tester.
