The latest trailer for BioWare’s Mass Effect 3 is absolutely incredible. I don’t call it that because of how excited I am for the game (which I am) but because of the fact that it is live action and reminds me so much of the classic space games from the 1990‘s.
<old man voice> You kids and your sparkly CGI cut scenes just don’t understand how it used to be. </old man voice>
I have fond memories of an era in video games where all of the cinematic sequences in video games were glorified B-movies like this and seeing this really stirs up some memories. Sewer Shark anyone? Old Command & Conquer games?
