E3 2011: Nintendo announces Super Mario 3D

The tanooki suit is back as Nintendo has announced an all-new Mario adventure for the Nintendo 3DS. Super Mario 3D was shown off in trailer form and looks as good as anything that has been released on the Wii to date. Mario fans will be glad to know that the famed tanooki suit looks to be making a comeback as it was featured extensively in the trailer.

The game is due out later this year.
