E3 2011: Cloud storage heads to Xbox 360

Why they waited until after their press conference to announce this is beyond me but Microsoft has announced that cloud storage options are coming to the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live. In the aftermath of yesterday’s presser, the announcement was made in a flood of press releases released with all of the conference’s information. The addition will allow players to sign into their XBL account and access their MS points and game saves from any internet connected system. The need to store your profile on external memory or “recover” it on another system will soon be long gone.
