Nickelodeon + Major League Baseball = Win

How can you not expect success when you combine the likes of Major League Baseball and Nickelodeon? That is exactly what 2K is banking on with their recently announced Nicktoons MLB for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS.
The title, which is planned for relase later this year, looks to blend the best of both of those worlds into one exciting title. Nicktoons MLB will feature players from all 30 MLB teams battling it out on the field with the biggest stars of Nickelodeon’s hit cartoons. Confirmed characters included in the game include SpongeBob SquarePants, Invader ZIM, Ren, Stimpy, and Fanboy among others.
2K has shown that they have the chops to do justice to the MLB license in the past so it will be interesting to see how they do with such a lighthearted take on the subject. AS for me, I am just hoping that it turns out better than Baseball Blast...
