High Moon Studios pulled off something amazing last year with their work on
Transformers: War for Cybertron. Their creation is not only the best Transformers game to date, but easily one of the
best games of 2010. I believe that the secret to their success was the fact that Hasbro allowed them to take the reigns and redefine the look and feel of the Transformers universe in a manner that was true to the original source material but modern enough to stand on its own. I guess that I am not the only one who appreciates the effort High Moon put into the artistic design of War for Cybertron as the Gnomon Gallery in Hollywood, CA is hosting a special art gallery show highlighting the studio’s work.
The show opens on March 5, with a reception beginning at 7 PM and will highlight the work of 5 artists from the game’s development team. While the focus of the gallery will be the work pertaining to War for Cybertron, personal pieces from the artists will also be shown. The team members participating in the show are Aaron Limonick, James Daly III, Jose Emroca Flores, Billy King, and Norwood Cole. Complete details regarding the show can be found at the
Gallery’s website.
If you happen to be in the area I strongly recommend checking out this show. Not only is the work top notch, but the team involved is as well. High Moon Studios is not only a very talented studio but an incredible nice group of people who deserve all of the credit they are being given. Show your support and check this out...
