When Capcom
announced Mega Man Legends 3 for the Nintendo 3DS, they pitched it as a ground breaking game that would incorporate the Mega Man fanbase into its development. Capcom opened a new section of their Unity Blog entitled the
Mega Man Legends 3 Developer’s Room where they would correspond directly with the fans and get their input for concepts and character designs for the new game. The first community created character has been announced for the game.
Capcom recently ran a little competition to design a boss for the game, known as the Bonne Mecha. Numerous designs were submitted by the community, but user Kobun No. 46 won the top prize with his Donner Wels design. Kobun’s design, which appears below, will be used in the game as a bass, rendered using the MT Framework graphics engine powering the game.
Congrats to Kobun on his win!
