More than a year ago, I posted a screenshot of the menu system for Quake Arena Arcade. I didn't realize it's been so long but the game's finally coming out. December 15th will be the date you can download the game from Xbox LIVE Arcade and it features 16 player action in six game types along with a new single player campaign. There's HD and widescreen support built into it as well.
Checking the screens, I remember when I was at an E3 long ago and this was being played at a few booths where you can go against some of the professional gamers out there. Instead of the high fidelity graphics you see in the screenshots, each of them had their graphics level turned down to the minimum to maximize frame rate. How times have changed.
