On Friday Valve released a small
patch for
Half Life 2:Episode One that makes the zombie/elevator sequence a little easier by adding some more health and ammunition while eliminating some of the zombies you have to take out. I guess I can see why the did it as it was one of the harder/more frustrating sequences in the game but was it really necessary to patch the game to make it easier? It did take me about seven tries to get past it but given that it's one of the set pieces in the game you have to wonder why they felt the need to tinker with it.
