Shaun White Skateboarding for PS3 a no show

If anyone hit their local retailer earlier this week looking for Shaun White Skateboarding for the Playstation 3 (it had a street date of Sunday, Oct 24th), you may have left scratching your head and empty handed. Unfortunately, it looks like one of those things that happen from time to time with the wrong software version shipped out to the retailers for the PS3 game only. SCEA released the following statement to multiple media outlets explaining the issue:

“There was a manufacturing issue with a misprinted disc at Sony Computer Entertainment America and the wrong version of the Shaun White Skateboarding PlayStation 3 game was shipped to retailers. We're working with Ubisoft to correct the issue. New PS3 copies of the game will be shipped to North American retailers by Thursday, Oct. 28 and it will be available by that weekend."

Fortunately it appears that the corrected game will be in stores by the end of this week for those that are still waiting….
