DRM-free digital delivery service GOG has announced the latest titles to be added to its catalogue. They are
Serious Sam: The First Encounter (
available today, $10) and
Serious Sam: The Second Encounter (
coming soon, $10). These are the original games released in 2001 and 2002, not their HD counterparts now available on Steam.
I enjoy supporting GOG, but I think that this announcement can only appeal to a small group of people. If you're going to spend $10 on these games, why not pay $5 more and get the HD version with updated multiplayer support? Nostalgia isn't worth this much to me, but I guess go for whatever floats your boat.
