Sure, we have known about Capcom’s upcoming Mega Man Universe for a while... but now it is official. Capcom officially announced the title last week in preparation for the 2010 San Diego Comic-con.
Mega Man Universe will be released for the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. A teaser trailer, as well as the official loge for the game has been released. Little to no information is given from the trailer, but it is very cool nonetheless. Even though nothing is explicitly stated, it looks like Capcom will be combining more than just the Mega Man IP into the project as Mega Man is shown in the trailer using powers from both Ryu and Arthur, from Street Fighter and Ghosts N’ Goblins respectively. You can read the full press release regarding the game after the jump.
