More On: Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City
This is the first of many video shorts to grace our presence in regard to Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City. While more core details of the game will be released shortly after this (such as character creation, combat, quests, etc.), we can familiarize ourselves with the storyline first.

Aram Jabbari from Atlus sums this up, as well, “Adventurers begin in Armoroad, a sparkling oceanic paradise filled with atmospheric dungeons to chart and survey, vast watery expanses to sail across, and rumors of a sunken city to investigate. While their travels will bring them across a number of engaging quests, exciting events, and shocking revelations about the world around them, a large part of what will make their voyage memorable will be their unique, custom party of characters. I'll never forget '1st2Die', my severely combat-challenged monk who never lasted long enough in battle to actually heal anybody. He was such a jerk.”

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- JUNE 23, 2010 -- Atlus U.S.A., Inc., the only publisher bold enough to venture into the unknown with a party made up solely of farmers, today launched a series of video shorts for the upcoming exploration RPG Etrian Odyssey™III: The Drowned City for Nintendo DS™. The series of video shorts, each of which will address unique aspects and new features found in the game, begins with its focus on the story and premise behind Etrian Odyssey III.

"Etrian Odyssey III, much like the RPG classics it pays tribute to, is as much about the player making a story all their own as it is a journey of exploration and discovery," stated Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales at Atlus. "Adventurers begin in Armoroad, a sparkling oceanic paradise filled with atmospheric dungeons to chart and survey, vast watery expanses to sail across, and rumors of a sunken city to investigate. He was such a jerk."

In addition to the "What's Your Story" short, future videos will address core topics like character creation and customization, exploration, combat, quests, and much more. Look for additional video shorts in the coming weeks!
