Pro Cycling Manager 2010 needs to be tested for graphic enhancing substances

More On: Pro Cycling Manager - Tour de France 2010

Unless you live under a rock, or perhaps just in America; you've likely heard that earlier this week defrocked 2006 Tour de France winner Floyd Landis dropped a bombshell on the cycling world with not only more accusations against Lance Armstrong, but against basically every major figure in US cycling and some international giants as well. It appears to be a product of his anger for not being allowed to participate in the Tour of California, or at least that's how Lance and Team Radio Shack are portraying it. And they have proof in a series of emails from Floyd and his team sponsor.

Being that we live in the US, the only way we're allowed to talk cycling is to talking about a doping charge or mentioning the words "Lance Armstrong". Since I did both, I think I'm now clear to talk about the real topic: Pro Cycling Manager 2010 has released a new set of images, and they look awesome. I've been playing Tour de France 2009 on the 360 and while I like it, I can't wait to play a game where I get to choose from a whole seasons worth of races to participate in.

The screen shots look great, and I can't wait to see them on my 27" HD TV that doubles as a monitor.

Pro Cycling Manager/Tour De France 2010: New Images Break Away!

Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive are pleased to present a new series of images taken fromPro Cycling Manager/Tour de France 2010! Today's images unveil for the first time a few city sequences, and more specifically the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées, which traditionally welcomes cyclists in the heart of Paris for the Tour de France's final stage. It is one of the 180 playable competitions included in Pro Cycling Manager 2010!

In order to provide a more realistic and a more intense experience, the game features high resolution textures and a new handling of the flora, which is now more luxuriant and diverse. Many advanced visual effects complete the ultimate rendering of the game: the bloom effect simulates image exposure to light, the depth of field enhances the focus of the TV cameras that follow cyclists during each race, while the motion blur simulates speed.

But all these improvements shouldn’t make you overlook that Pro Cycling Manager/Tour de France 2010's evolutions are not limited to the race. Many novelties are also implemented on the manager part of the game: a new Season mode, numerous challenges, performances and official historic records to beat, or even a new stage editor to create your stages in great detail! Without a doubt, 2010 will be a big year for Pro Cycling Manager!
