While people are still discussing the merits of the name change it looks like Nintendo is actually going to be getting some decent third party support this time around as Gamasutra has posted a nice
interview with EA's John Scappert about the upcoming non-port version of Madden 2007. The version will take full advantage of the
Revolution's Wii's controller for things for all facets of the game. It sounds really cool (especially stiff arming and juking) but I'm interested to see how you select which receiver you are going to pass it to or if they have to dumb down any of the gameplay to fit the receiver. Other than that it sounds pretty cool.
