In an announcement that is sure to make our own Ben very happy, Sega has finally put a firm release date on the downloadable version(s) of
After Burner Climax. The game will hit the Xbox Live Arcade on Aril 21, 2010 and the PlayStation Network a day later, on April 22. The official price point for the North American release has yet to be announced, but the Japanese version sold for the equivalent of $10.
After Burner Climax is a port of the 2006 arcade game that brought the classic fighter plane series into the new millennium. Those lucky enough to have had access to the arcade version of the game have raved about it in my personal experience. Everyone that I know who has played it has spoken highly of the game and expected no less than a stellar port fort he home version(s). It looks like we only have a couple of weeks until we can all find out for our selves...
