EA isn't done shutting off servers...

Some people thought that the previous released listing of server-shutdowns by Electronic Arts was harsh, but that wasn't the full story.  EA is planning to shut off more than just the titles they announced a little while back.  EA.com has updated its listing of servers scheduled to be closed in the upcoming months.  We can now add all of the following to the list of games approaching their online-end:

Army of Two for PlayStation 3 (effective April 15, 2010, Asia only)
Burnout 3: Takedown for PlayStation 2 (effective April 15, 2010)
Def Jam for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (effective March 16, 2010)
The Godfather for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (effective March 16, 2010)
Lord of the Rings: Conquest for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 (effective March 16, 2010)
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for PC (effective March 16, 2010)
Need for Speed: Carbon for PlayStation Portable  (effective March 16, 2010)
Need for Speed: ProStreet for PlayStation Portable (effective March 16, 2010)
Simpsons for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (effective March 16, 2010)

They aren't wasting any time with some of the more recent titles such as Army of Two and Lord of the Rings (even if Army of Two is Asia only).  This is the one main concern that I have for companies running their own dedicated servers as EA does;  many games are seeing their end far too early...
