The Olympic games came to the iPhone earlier this week, with Sonic the Hedgehog but sans our good buddy Mario. In what I consider to be an interesting move, Sega has decided to release
Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games as its own stand alone title, without the tie in of Nintendo characters that were included in the versions released previously. The iPhone version of the game contains 10 playable characters competing in 4 seperate events and is available now on the iTunes App-store for $4.99. I am very curious to see how this one compares to the other portable release, available on the Nintendo DS. Can the game succeed without Mario's midas touch?
