Super Street FIghter 4: Four more for the road...

More On: Xbox 360 PLAYSTATION 3 Super Street Fighter 4
The release of Super Street Fighter 4 is coming upon us quickly.   There were a lot of gamers who were upset at the announcement of the new "update" to 2009's best fighter (personal opinion, of course).  Many felt that this new edition of the game was nothing more than a glorified DLC update that was being shipped as a full retail game.  Capcom was un-phased by such claims and new that as the information for the new version made its way to the public, they would show that this was going to be more than just a simple upgrade to Street Fighter 4.  Japan's main gaming publication, Famitsu, recently ran a live stream of a preview of the game through their website and keen eyes noticed that there were still four spaces left to be filled on the character selection screen.  We already know that the new game will be adding the likes of T. Hawk, Dee Jay, Cody, Adon, Guy, and newcomer Juri... but who will fill the four remaining spots? Rumors have already filled them in...

When the news first broke of Super Street Fighter 4, it was thanks to a forum post on Capcom's Unity website... posted strictly as a rumor.  The thing that brought light and credibility to this rumor posting was that fact that it was promptly removed by the Capcom staff. It wasn't just edited or moderated, the thread was removed completely; this was sort of an odd move considering how quickly and firmly Capcom reacted to the posting.  Despite the fact that the thread was removed, the information was now out there and people took notice.

Now, as more information has come out, the initial rumors posted in that infamous thread have been completely true thus far.  The initial thread named all of the characters that have already been announced as being added to the game as well as including SF alumni Ibuki, Dudley, Makoto and another brand new character.  Time will tell if these are the faces that will fill in the holes in the character select screen that was shown in Famitsu's preview build of Super Street Fighter 4...
