Have yet to get your fill of swing-based sports for the Wii? If your answer is no, then thank your deity of choice, because Ubisoft has just announced Racquet Sports for the Wii. The game will feature tennis, ping pong, badminton, squash, and beach tennis. Because if there's one surface conducive to playing tennis, it's sand.
"Ubisoft and Nintendo continue to reach new gamers with innovative casual experiences that push the industry forward,” said Adam Novickas, U.S. director of brand marketing at Ubisoft. "As racquet sports are some of the most popular sporting activities throughout the world, we are excited to bring a realistic interactive game experience for the entire family.”
Racquet Sports will include 40 environments, ranging from an underwater reef to a Moroccan palace. Naturally, there will be multiplayer and Wii-friendly character customization.
