The official website for
C.O.P. the Recruit is now
live, and it's a flashy one at that. The site offers info on the characters, weapons, cars and other particulars of the ambitious DS sandbox game, along with links to preorder the game and watch some cool trailers. While I have a mild distate for games that use acronyms in their titles (like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and F.E.A.R.) that's just because I'm lazy and they are a pain to type out over and over. As for the actual game, I enjoyed my hands-on time with it and chatting with the lead developer was a lot of fun. You can tell the guys making C.O.P. (argh!) are very proud of what they've accomplished, and I'm looking forward to going through the game when it launches in early October.
