When you want to feel DiRTY, again

DiRT 2 was a released date and that will be September 8th, 2009 in NoRTH America and in the EpAC territories on September 10th and in the Uk on September 11th (see what I did there). The first DiRT was dirty, smelly, slimy, gooey ooey, and oh so delicious so I can't wait to get my teeth into the latest mud covered entry. There will be versions for the Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, and PSP and in the release date announcement CodeMasters doesn't name a specific platform so I'm assuming their releasing simultaneously. You shouldn't be surprised if in the next few months you're bombarded by commercials and trailers for DiRT 2 but for now let's just enjoy some screenies.

drive of the year were confirmed today as Codemasters® announced that
DiRT™ 2, the next chapter in the legendary racing game series, will be
available on September 8th in North America.  The game will release as
Colin McRae: DiRT 2 across EPAC territories on September 10th with a
UK street date of September 11th.

follow with support for DirectX® 11.

DiRT 2 is set to take racing games to a new level with thrilling new

Taking players on an exhilarating World Tour, DiRT 2 will deliver over

rainforest to spectator-packed stadiums in London and Los Angeles,
racers will compete in contemporary off-road race disciplines covering

will feature an exciting line-up of the best new rally drivers –
including the multi medal-winning Subaru Rally Team USA driver Ken
Block alongside Travis Pastrana, Dave Mirra, and Tanner Faust, who
