The new drums for Guitar Hero 5

There were some fuzzy pictures released before that had some people in doubt but it looks like it is true. Here are the new drums straight from Red Octane's website. Some changes I do like are the floor pedal now has a bar notch so you can lay it on top of the horizontal crossbar and not have it move around on the floor as well as the switch in position for the control board. It also looks like the drum rims have been recessed so you get the pad being exposed more and the cymbals are completely round as opposed to the half moons of the Guitar Hero World Tour drums.
I was never a fan of the drums in GHWT so I'm hoping the things have improved since then with the performance. I suffered from the in consistant symbol and red pad detection so I could never get past any songs with the drums that were in my full kit. In fact, I never used it after the first week of reviewing the game so it's been sitting in the garage. Hopefully, these new ones will do much better.
