Why the name change?

The successful truck simulation game, Euro Truck Simulator, as it is known in Europe, has made it's way to North America under a much different, more appealing name.. Big Rig Europe. I can't help but wonder.. What could have inspired such a different name? Why change the name at all? I guess they figured "Euro Truck Simulator" sounded too boring.

Montreal, Quebec, Canada – June 19, 2009 – Following its success in
selected territories in Europe, selling well over 100,000 units, Euro
Truck Simulator gets a new name for the North American shores; Big Rig
Europe.



It’s the same great gameplay and level of quality gamers have come to
expect from SCS Software; creators of Meridian4’s previous driving
simulation game Bus Driver and creators of the hugely successful 18
Wheels of Steel series, with a new name and logo.
