During their CES presentation last night, Microsoft announced that
Flight Simulator X
is under development (I know I'm sad watching their presentation rather
than the National Championship game...). The game will use some
of the new features in Microsoft's upcoming Vista operating system and
is about a year out. They ran through a short demo of the game
and it looks pretty good (even through a blocky webcast). I
know our resident pilot Dave will be following the development pretty
closely as he was a huge fan of the last one.
