Gaming Gibs for 5/11/2009

Here are a few things I missed while realizing that the hard core Trekkors need to get one with their lives (sorry Sean):

• Game industry loses nearly 8,500 workers in the last year
• It looks like burning your fans with a bad game before turning out a good one has consequences
• CVG is giving out free (virtual) apartments
• Eidos has high expectations for Batman:Arkham Asylum, I'm just hoping it doesn't completely suck
• Bionic Commando achievements unveiled
• X3 given the critical once over
• SSD support in Win 7 discussed (this is more interesting than you think)
• NHL 10 producer blogs about what we can expect from the game
