Here are your cover athletes for NCAA Football 2010. Michael Crabtree will be on the Xbox 360 version. He was a wide receiver at Texas Tech and I hear rumblings my Cleveland Browns might take him. If the Browns deal Braylon Edwards, they'll need a WR to take his place. I'm not sold on Crabtree so I'm hoping the Browns are just saying this to put up a smokescreen.
PlayStation 3 gets Utah's former QB Brian Johnson. Utah went undefeated and beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Any team that beats Nick Saban is OK in my book.
Mark Sanchez, former USC one season wonder QB, will be on the cover of the PSP version. Again, I hear my Browns are thinking of picking him up and looking to trade Brady Quinn. Please let this not be true. I know the Browns have to rebuild but I don't know if I can live through another QB failure which I think would happen since Sanchez only has one year on his belt as a starter.
Now, former Texas defensive end, Brian Orakpo will be on the PS2 cover and this is the one pick I think the Browns should make. They need some good defensive players and Orakpo could be the one to help stabilize the Browns' defense. And yes, this is ANOTHER name that the Browns have been linked to. I think the only name the Browns haven't been linked to is Matthew Stafford.

Michael Crabtree, formerly of Texas Tech University, graces the NCAA Football 10 Xbox 360® cover. A top 2009 NFL Draft prospect and two-time recipient of the Biletnikoff and Paul Warfield Awards, Crabtree is a highly recognized wide receiver who led Texas Tech in a close race for the BCS National Championship up until the final weeks of the 2008 season. Texas Tech’s victory over Texas in Lubbock is considered one of the defining moments of 2008.
The PLAYSTATION®3 cover features University of Utah’s former quarterback, Brian Johnson. In 2008, under Johnson’s leadership, the Utah Utes became the only undefeated NCAA Division I team, boasting a 12-0 record heading into the 2009 Sugar Bowl. In that game, #7 Utah upset #4 Alabama to finish the season with a perfect 13-0 record. Johnson was named the Most Outstanding Player in the 2009 Sugar Bowl.
The PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) version of NCAA Football 10 will showcase University of Southern California’s former quarterback, Mark Sanchez. In his only season as USC’s starting quarterback, Sanchez led the Trojans to a near perfect 12-1 season, narrowly missing the opportunity to compete for the 2008 BCS National Championship title.
