In anticipation of the game's release next week, EA has provided us with the details on some Godfather II DLC. The DLC, or rather Premium Upgrade Packs, will include: Level Four weapons, an additional crew member with unique abilities, and two new multiplayer maps. Godfather II releases on the PS3, 360, and PC on April 7th in the US, and April 10th in Europe. The four Premium Upgrade Packs that range from $4 to $10 (or 320 to 800 Microsoft Space Bucks) will be available on the XBLM and PSN April 23rd. The Pentangeli Map Pack will include the Cuba and Junkyard multiplayer maps, the Jack of All Trades pack gives you the armed and talented Jimmy Lira, the Level 4 Weapons Bundle includes several powerful weapons to help you take over the city, and the Corleone Bundle includes all of the above.
For those unfamiliar with the Godfather series, go watch the movies. If you don't have time for that then this game takes place in Havana, New York City, and Miami in the late 50's- early 60's, and you play as Dominic. The goal is to rise above the other families to become the most powerful Don in America. So far the game has been receiving great reviews for its intense action, strategy, immersion, and open-world environment.
