Circuit City announced today that they would be shuttering 155 stores and laying off 17% of its U.S. workforce. What does this mean to the gamer? We will have one less place to purchase games, but on a positive side we wont have to guess where the heck the games are located in their stores anymore. A
complete list of stores can be found here, but in Columbus, OH, the three stores (Hilliard, Grove City, West Broad Outlet) being closed are their two newest and an outlet, all located in the West-Southwest side of the city. This may be the tip of the iceberg for Circuit City's restructuring because it sure looks like the Titanic is steaming this was across the horizon.
