The date is finally here.
WWE Network will officially go live tonight at 11:05 PM EDT, but sign-ups have already begun on World Wrestling Entertainment's official site. There are the standard problems that fans are dealing with, such as the website lagging out due to high demand, but this is a good sign for the Stamford, Connecticut-based company. I would be more concerned if I was able to get right in with no problem.
Cost for the WWE Network is $9.95 a month and requires a six-month recurring subscription. For those who are wondering, you are not charged the full amount up front. A one week trial gives fans the opportunity to check out what it's all about and, after that seven day period is up, the subscription kicks in and you are locked in for six months. Once again, this will include all Pay-Per-Views live, streaming to any device with an internet connection. It's worth it for every wrestling fan just to have that alone.
Right now, dealing with the long lag time of the website seems to be the only issue, but if you can put up with it for a few minutes and get it complete, you'll be all set for tonight's unveiling!
