Three bands make their debut next week in Rock Band DLC

If you are a fan of Cracker, Florence + The Machine or Midnight Oil then be excited because these three bands will all have tracks coming to the Rock Band music store on June 5th

The tracks are

"Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now) From Cracker 

"Dog Days Are Over" from Florence + The Machine

"Power and the Passion" from Midnight Oil 

The tracks will be available June 5th for download for $1.99 each (160 Microsoft Points or 200 Wii Points)

"Teen Angst" (What The World Needs Now) will offer a Pro Bass and Pro Guitar upgrade for $.99 (80 Microsoft Points, 100 Wii Points)

And Finally "Dog Days Are Over" and "Power and the Passion" will offer keyboard upgrades for the same price as Pro Bass and Guitar upgrades


CRACKER, FLORENCE + THE MACHINE, AND MIDNIGHT OIL MAKE THEIR DEBUTS IN ROCK BAND!

Cambridge, Mass. – June 1st, 2012– Harmonix today announced that tracks from Cracker, Florence + the Machine, and Midnight Oil are headed to the Rock Band™ Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.

Rock Band provides the deepest and best selection of artists, songs and albums through the Rock Band music platform, which features more than 1,400 artists and more than 3,500* tracks via disc and download purchase (complete list of tracks at www.rockband.com/songs). Rock Band’s gigantic music library dwarfs that of any other rhythm video game on the market. More than 100 million songs have been sold through the Rock Band Music Store since its launch on Nov. 20, 2007.

Tracks downloaded from the Rock Band Music Store are compatible with the award-winning full-band Rock Band 3 experience, as well as the upcoming controller-based Rock Band Blitz, coming summer of 2012 for Xbox LIVE® Arcade and PlayStation®Network!

Rock Band DLC Additions for Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Wii™

Harmonix kicks off June’s Rock Band Music Store releases with a selection of three singles that assures there’s something for everyone when the tracks drop on June 5th.

“Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)” from alternative rock group Cracker kicks things off. The single comes from the band’s 1992 self-titled debut record, and peaked that year at number one on the Billboard U.S. Modern Rock Tracks.

When Florence + the Machine released their debut record, Lungs, in 2008, it quickly became one of the year’s most popular releases. “Dog Days Are Over,” the multi-platinum second single from Lungs, hits the Rock Band Music Store on June 5th.

Finally, Australia’s Midnight Oil makes their debut in Rock Band with ”Power and the Passion” the first single from the critically acclaimed 1982 record, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
