A bunch of news just hit us from NVIDIA talking about video cards, GeForce Experience, and Shield.
First up, the new hotness that is the GeForce GTX 780 Ti finally has a price. Those that want some blazingly fast graphics can pick up one for $699.99. Certainly not an impulse buy type of price, but you are getting one of the fastest NVIDIA cards out there.
With that, the GeForce GTX 780 goes from that price range down to a suggested retail price of $499.99. Thats about $150 drop depending on the card.
The GeForce GTX 770 gets reduced to $329.99 giving it a roughly $130 price drop, card depending.
And remember, NVIDIA is running a promotion where you can get Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Batman: Arkham Origins on the higher end cards for free.
Today also marks the day you will finally be able to use ShadowPlay to record your gaming sessions with a compatible NVIDIA card. It's a great feature that can auto record your last 20 minutes or record on your command. No Twitch integration yet, but that should be coming soon.
Finally, Shield gets an update to Android 4.3 along with some new features. You can now plug the Shield to a TV and enjoy gaming or media watching in 1080P by pairing it with a Bluetooth controller. For controlling, you can now do mappings of controls for games so if you want a control scheme to be more suited towards you, just create a profile. And GameStream is now official.
