Steam is adding more than just television / large screen support to its PC software. The service added the ability to take and share screenshots with users on your friends.

The announcement was made on the service’s official blog with instructions on how to use the new feature. During the course of any game that runs the Steam overlay, simply press F12 and a screenshot will be taken and saved on your system. Within the actual Steam software, players will find a Screenshot Manager which allows them to organize and even share their screenshots with the public. You can upload selected screenshots to the Community page within the Steam service. Users will be allotted 1GB os ftorage on the Steam cloud to keep their images in the public view.

The new feature is automatically included in the recent update to the Steam platform, all you have to do is load up the software and allow the updates to install and you are set...
