True story: I just learned that American McGee was a person and not a company. Don't know how I managed to miss that, but I did . . .
Now headlines like "American McGee's Spicy Horse launches kickstarter for
Akaneiro: Demon Hunters" makes even more sense than it did before.
Anyway, like I said, Spicy Horse has just launched a Kickstarter to get
Akaneiro: Demon Hunters some bonus funding. You can visit the Kickstarter page
right here. It's full of information about the game and even has some screenshots.
Akaneiro: Demon Hunters will be free to play with a number of free maps (number of free maps will be determined during the open beta). There will be premium content that you can purchase with both real money and the in-game currency known as karma. You'll also be able to purchase cosmetic items and karma packs. Again, to learn more visit the Kickstarter page.
Akaneiro: Demon Hunters already exists and is playable, so the Kickstarter is really just so you can help make it even more awesome than it apparently already is. That's pretty cool if you ask me.
Akaneiro: Demon Hunters will be available on the web (Mac/PC/Linux), and Android, but it has no release date at this time.
