I mentioned last week that
Kirby's Dream Collection has been announced for a September release. This morning a friend shared a link on my Facebook timeline to an article on Kotaku that lists the six games that will be in the collection. Originating from an article on www.inside-games.jp, the six games included are:
Kirby's Dream Land (GB)
Kirby's Dream Land 2 (GB)
Kirby's Dream Land 3 (Super NES)
Kirby's Adventure (NES)
Kirby's Super Star (Super NES)
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64)
There are two things that surprise me here. First, there are none of the spin off titles, such as Kirby's Block Ball or Kirby's Dream Course. Second, just about all of these games have been released on the Wii or 3DS Virtual Console. I know at least Adventure, Super Star, and The Crystal Shards is on the Wii's VC (can't remember if KDL 3 is or not). However, being a big Kirby fan, especially a huge fan of Super Star and Adventure, I definitely look forward to this collection in September.
