Samsung PR has released this new video showing the kind of performance they were able to get by combining 24 of their 64 GB solid state drives (SSD). It's a fairly impressive demo of what the hardware is capable of (their's some
Crysis footage towards the end) but practical day to day performance of one to two drives just isn't there yet. Some of that will get fixed in Windows 7 but I think we're still a few years away from SSD's taking over the market.
