From the "We didn't see that one coming" room comes news that Ratchet and Clank will be getting their own feature film that will be in movie theatres sometime in 2015. There aren't a lot of details on the film but the gist of the plot is that "Ratchet and Clank tells the story of two unlikely heroes as they struggle to stop a vile alien named Chairman Drek from destroying every planet in the Solana Galaxy". Here's the teaser for the film which is a nice homage to an old Bugs Bunny routine.
IGN has a few other details if you want more info on the flick but a CGI movie seems like the right way to adapt the game. The real question now is if Insomniac will be delivering a new Ratchet and Clank game to coincide with the movie and hopefully we'll get an answer at E3 this June.
