Mark your calendars PlayStation fans! Sony has finally announced the release date for their upcoming fighter PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The game will launch on both the PlayStation 3 and Vita on October 23, 2012.
In addition to setting the release date, Sony is also offering an exclusive set of costumes for each character in the game. So far, there have been 8 confirmed playable characters for the game:

- Big Daddy
- Fat Princess
- Kratos
- Mael Radec
- Parappa the Rapper
- Sly Cooper
- Sweet Tooth
Plenty more characters are going to be announced, beginning with 2 this evening at EVO in Las Vegas. Remember, the two games are completely compatible with one another, allowing players to share saves between both the PS3 and Vita versions and cross-platform multiplayer gameplay.
