Everyone wants new game modes added to current titles to spice things up from time to time.  Coffee Stain Studios (I dare you to come up with a better name for a company) has done just that to it's popular title Sanctum 2 by adding in an open sandbox style that will allow unlockable events, endless enemies, and customization to change up the fun that is put into the game itself.  Be sure to check it out if you are a fan of the tower defense style or the hybrid first person shooters.  It is available now and for $14.99.

SANCTUM 2 ADDS NEW SANDBOX MODE

Coffee Stain Studios and Reverb Publishing today launched a new game mode to the PC version of Sanctum 2, the sequel to the world’s first tower defense/first person shooter hybrid.  “Sandbox Mode” will allow users to access any unlocked levels with the following options:

• Endless waves of enemies
• Customizable resources gained
• Customizable enemy HP
• Enables players to turn the tower cap on or off

“We continually want to improve our game based on feedback we get from our community. Sanctum 2 is our biggest project yet, so we want to make it as great as possible with help from our player base,” says Armin Ibrisagic, PR Manager & Game Designer for Coffee Stain Studios. ”It’s our way of thanking players for supporting us!”

Sanctum 2 is now available for $14.99 on PC and 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live. With more game mode additions and DLC updates coming in the very near future, fans should take advantage of the Sanctum 2 Season Pass which includes all four planned expansion packs for only $11.99.
