Nintendo 3DS taking to the skies with Ace Combat

More On: Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy
Namco Bandai is making up for some lost time with the Ace Combat series.

With Assault Horizon coming up in just a few weeks, you would think that they would be making fans of the series happy enough to keep them occupied.  However, Namco Bandai is stepping it up beyond consoles by giving us the first real taste of 3D flight simulation with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy.  This is not the first Ace Combat title to grace handhelds, though the PSP had the best one thus far with Skies of Deception.  While 3D gaming is something of a niche market for the time being, I'm excited to see how well the Ace Combat series does in a 3D handheld environment.  The 3DS needs a more diverse range of titles, and Ace Combat is going to help that.
