Steam just keeps getting better and better. One of things I sometimes do when I get stuck is check out a guide to help me along. Just Alt-Tab out, go on the Internet, Google, and find the answer. If you're playing a game via Steam, it just got a little easier.
Steam
now supports user generated guides, which can be opened with the Steam overlay that's present in all their games. Text, pictures, and YouTube videos are supported so people out there can make some pretty extensive guides. Anyone can make one and share it with others, so this can be a pretty powerful tool to help those in need.
Like other user generated content, you can rate them and find great guides based on the opinion of the public. Overall, I think this is a great addition to Steam and one that I think will garner a lot of usage out of a lot of folks.
