New Kojima countdown has a clear picture of a character

So the countdown as begun again and this time the rain is a lot heavier, there's an R that appears.. then this picture....What does it mean? Well, it certainly doesn't look like a character for Lords of Shadow as previously thought. I know some people think it's a lot more in the Metal Gear style but this could just be another one of those things to throw you off. OK, I'm saying that to keep all the bases covered. :)
-Update : Well it's pretty much Big Boss as everyone's saying.... or Dennis Quaid in GI Joe after 20 years as Randy suggests...
