Far in the future, four giant companies compete for galactic resources - lets call it "the game of rocks" - and the player is thrust into this scenario as a new recruit for ArkCo. ArkCo. sounds innocent enough - like they make pet carriers or something - but if history has shown us anything, it's that there is nothing more evil in a videogame than a large corporation.
Edge of Space is currently in its Beta phase and you can pre-order it from Desura and Rain Digital Games for only $9.99. Those shmucks that don't pre-order it will have to shell out a whopping $14.99. Edge of Space is also on Valve's Steam Greenlight project.

VENTURE TO THE EDGE OF SPACE IN HANDYMAN STUDIOS’ NEW TEASER TRAILER
HandyMan Studios revealed today the latest trailer for its upcoming survival and exploration game, Edge of Space. Set in the distant future, four technology conglomerates control the galaxy in a competitive corporatocracy, and Edge of Space players are thrust into the recruit boots for one such company ArkCo. The new video introduces the so-called "ArkCo Operatives" -- men and women on the cutting edge of interstellar expedition -- who are trained in exploration and survival skills as much as deep-space mining and extraterrestrial combat.
Edge of Space challenges players to build, create, mold, and fight to survive in the deepest, darkest, weirdest, and possibly most interesting part of the universe. With thousands of players already taking part in the on-going Beta, now is the perfect time to explore its unknown thrills and dangers.
