Namco Bandai announces Ace Combat rebirth

Although the Ace Combat series from Namco is longstanding, Namco Bandai announced a rebirth of their premiere franchise with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon in development by none other than the Project Aces team. The announcement comes with mention of the upcoming iteration to utilize a currently undisclosed “new technology” that is said to have players experiencing the combat in a wholly new way.

You can expect the game to release for the 360 and PS3 systems in an undetermined time in 2011. You can also expect a slew of new information as the launch year approaches. For now, you can check out their video on the official website.
